Hello My name is Fiona and I am a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Primary Teacher, I was awarded my BA(hons) in Primary Education in 2005 from Leeds Metropolitan University. I have 18 years working as a Teacher. Long Term I taught Year 5 and Year 2 classes. However, working as a Supply Teacher I have a breadth of experience of all the Primary age range. Working in a large variety of schools, I have learnt so many different approaches to teaching. I have worked with children in KS3 who have learning issues, using the primary curriculum I have been able to underpin their new knowledge. I have mostly followed the Primary Curriculum, changing topics to meet the needs of the class. I believe that communication between parent, child and tutor is important and necessary. My lessons will be in the form of small steps leading towards an end goal. Each step will be non-threatening, and achievable with effort and practice. I look forward to hearing from you.
